Reporting to the Manager Fixed Plant Maintenance, this role will lead a team of Reliability Engineers who support the Yandi Fixed Plant Maintenance Team. 
This role will have the opportunity to perform strategic analysis, eliminate defects and deliver improvement initiatives.  You will be able to engage with broad ranging stakeholders, which will be essential to the success of this role.
As a driven and inspiring leader, you will be able to develop and retain a high calibre team to ensure work is delivered safely on schedule and to high quality standard.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering (or other maintenance related technical discipline) or Trade Qualification
  • Experienced reliability engineering within a fixed plant environment or business improvement background including understanding of SAP work management processes highly regarded
  • Proficient understanding of mining operations and equipment desirable or a manufacturing environment
  • Leadership skills with strong communication, negotiation, influencing, interpersonal and relationship managing attributes
  • Relationship building and engagement skills across a broad range of stakeholders
  • Process and systems oriented with developed written and verbal communication skills
  • C’ class driver’s licence is essential


Location

You will be based at our 'Yandi' mine on a fly-in fly-out 5:2/4:3/9:5 roster.  Yandi is located approximately 170kms North of Newman West Australia. The outstanding facilities at the FIFO village include; a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, squash, tennis and basketball courts, golf driving range, mini golf, netted cricket pitch, beach volleyball court and recreation room. All rooms at the village have their own ensuite bathroom, television, internet, refrigerator and air-conditioning.
